Conference Facility

Tumaini Counselling Centre has a spacious and comfortable conference room which can easily seat up to 100 people. For smaller meetings, our Garden Room can seat groups of up to 10.

The centre is well equipped with white boards, overhead projector, video project, cushioned chairs, tables, and generator back-up.  Photocopying and binding are available on site. Tea times and lunches are available, and menus include both African and Western food items.

Meals are served in the banda located in the middle of the garden.  Guests sit around uniquely designed picnic tables which allow groups of 8 to comfortably visit while eating and enjoying the bird life and gardens. Recreational opportunities include volley ball, tetherball, basketball, and a modern playground that has been enjoyed by children of all ages!  Space is also available on the grounds for team building activities.

Library

The 3800 volume lending library has a wide selection of books, videos, and sermon tapes.  The library resources are available to the missions community throughout eastern Africa and those in ministry.  The annual fee is 500/.

Garden

On the Tumaini grounds are beautiful gardens that host a wide variety of plants and birds.  Covered benches and arbors provide a peaceful setting to pray and reflect.  A large shaded outdoor area can be used for picnic lunches or small groups.
