Imago Christi, whose mission is to “… live out and invite Christian leaders into an intimate and transforming relationship of love with the Trinity so that the love of God will overflow through the Church into a world that desperately needs Him”, is holding online Spiritual Formation Discovery events designed for committed followers of Jesus who want to understand their journey intimacy with God and grow in their ability to lead others to experience more of His love.
These online Discovery events are meant to help you 1) Discover the keys to your spiritual growth, 2) Experience your longing for God and His longing for relationship with you, and 3) Participate in a spiritual community that inspires your growth through shared story and common experience. They are especially designed for participants in the African, European and Asian time zones, but are open for anyone in the Americas as well.
Discovery provides a uniquely experiential and holistic overview of the major themes of our spiritual formation. The Discovery experience provides an integrative framework in which to understand and engage in any aspect of formation. Spiritual disciplines and practices are most effectively to someone’s journey in the context of their spiritual history, longing and maturity. Discovery helps participants identify where they are in this journey of deepening intimacy with the Trinity, and so best choose and apply spiritual disciplines to their lives, and join others in their journeys.
