Vision &
Strategy
Our Vision
At AIM Care, we are dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness and resilience of missionaries across Africa through specialized mental health services. Our vision is to support and empower those who are called to serve, ensuring they can pursue their missions with renewed strength and unwavering commitment.
Our Journey
Since 1991, Tumaini Counselling Centre, the heart of AIM Care, has been a beacon of hope for missionaries in need of mental health support. Initially based in Nairobi, the Centre has grown to include a second location in Kampala, Uganda. This growth reflects our commitment to providing accessible and high-quality care to missionaries across Africa.
Mission
AIM Care’s mission is to increase the fruitfulness of disciple-makers by offering restorative and preventative care. We support 350-400 missionaries each year, offering services that range from individual counseling to crisis debriefings. Our aim is to enable missionaries to continue their work without the need to return home, thus maintaining their impact and commitment.
