Thank you for checking out this page. We have a few projects which, when supported, help us carry on this ministry.  If you would like to assist with a one-time or monthly gift toward the financial needs of AIM Care at Tumaini, we have a few ongoing project needs for you to consider:

  •  Travel & Operation Fund
  •  Missionary Staff Housing

AIM Care Counseling – Project ID ABS-109

AIM Care at Tumaini Counseling Centers in Nairobi, Kenya and Kampala, Uganda provides support and counseling for missionaries serving across much of Africa.  AIM Care’s vision is to enhance missionary resilience so that they may serve effectively in the ministries God has called them. This ongoing project helps support this ministry’s operation and travel when counselors provide services at field conferences, counseling scholarships, and other AIM Care needs.

ABS Missionary Staff Housing – Project ID: ABS-118-U

Additional staffing became a prime need at Tumaini. While the numbers of missionaries coming to Tumaini increased, the number of our long term clinical staff dropped. But sometimes the fruitfulness of a project comes down to very practical things – in this case, to bricks and mortar!

In 2018 we completed building four 2-bedroom housing units for staff on the Tumaini Nairobi compound.  This staff housing was needed as rental housing in Nairobi was becoming unaffordable within a mission context.   In addition, the frequent traffic jams were adding up to 2 hours at the start and end of the working day to travel just a few miles. Building these missionary staff housing units solve those problems as well as the problem of making care and provision for short-term staff less complicated and safer.

Due to the urgency of the need our board decided to build in faith.  We are now benefiting from the use of these units; however, a significant portion of the $300,000 budget is still owed for being able to repay a loan.  Can you help us?
