What to Do When Your Adult Children Come Home

Many families, including missionaries, have seasons of time where their adult children return to live with them.  This could be sheltering in place during the pandemic with college closed or during times of unemployment, transition, physical illness, extended family emergencies, emotional health struggles, broken relationships, or simply as a way to save money.

The respected Christian ministry Focus on the Family hosted Dr. John Townsend, one of the co-authors of the very helpful Boundaries book, for a discussion on this topic.  This broadcast helps parents in these types of situations with expectations, boundaries, mutual respect, communication, and more.  Dr. Townsend also shares 5 daily things to do for keeping one’s sanity in the midst of these situations.  https://youtu.be/mgSuJSI-enQ
